Canadian County Democrats to hear 12 Democratic Candidates and Bean Supper Band at June 13 event

Twelve Democratic candidates will speak and the Bean Supper Band will perform Friday, June 13, at the Canadian County Democrats’ annual BS & Beans Supper. Band members (from left) are Tim Wagner from Yukon, Joey Larsen from Oklahoma City and Worth Lambert from Kingfisher. Ron Marlett from Bethany will play, but missed the photo shoot. The event starts at 6:30 p.m. at Redlands Community College conference center, 1300 S. Country Club Road in El Reno. Tickets are $35 in advance and $45 at the door.

EL RENO, Okla.  – The Bean Supper Band will kick off the festivities at 6:30 p.m. for the Canadian County Democrats’ annual BS and Beans Supper and Candidate Forum on Saturday, Aug. 3, at Redlands Community College conference center.

The entrance is located on the west side of main building one mile north of I-40 at 1300 S. Country Club in El Reno.

Bean Supper Band members are Worth Lambert from Kingfisher, Joey Larsen from Oklahoma City, Ron Marlett from Bethany, and Tim Wagner from Yukon.

Nearly 100 guests are pre-registered to hear 12 Democratic candidates, who are confirmed as speakers for the event:

• Constance Johnson, Candidate for US Senate (unexpired term)
• Matt Silverstein, Candidate for US Senate (full term)
• Tae Si, Candidate for US Congressional District 4
• Bert Smith, Candidate for US Congressional District 4
• Cathy Cummings, Candidate for Lt. Governor
• Mike Workman, Candidate for Labor Commissioner
• Ivan Holmes, Candidate for Superintendent of Public Education
• Dr. John Cox, Candidate for Superintendent of Public Education
• Jack Herron, Candidate for Superintendent of Public Education
• Freda Deskin, Candidate for Superintendent of Public Education
• Sarah Baker, House District 43
• Justin Atkinson, Canadian County Commissioner District 1

 Advance registration is requested to allow Redlands’ caterers to estimate an accurate number of guests.
