Canadian County Democrats to Distribute Free School Supplies Aug 1 in El Reno

EL RENO, Okla. – Volunteers from the Canadian County Democrats will distribute free school supplies beginning at 10 a.m. on Sat., Aug. 1, at the Lord’s Harvest food bank, 1020 Sunset Drive, El Reno. Supplies will be available on a first come, first served basis.

Individuals and business are encouraged to help with donations of pens, pencils or other supplies imprinted with their company name to stretch supplies to help more students.

“This is the ninth year the Canadian County Democrats have given away school supplies for kids in our community,” County Vice Chair Tim O’Connor said. “We need donations to help twice as many students as previous years.”

The Canadian County Democrats will also register voters from all political parties.
