Canadian County Democrats to celebrate August 13 with Democratic candidates and Bean Supper Band

YUKON, Okla.  – The Bean Supper Band will kick off the festivities on Saturday, August 13, when the Canadian County Democrats and friends convene for their 10th banquet and candidate forum now known as the 2016 Candidate Fiesta. The party starts at 6 Events at 10 West Main located on Route 66 at 10 West in Yukon.

Democratic organizers have upgraded their popular event, formerly known as the Bean Supper, from casual to festive attire for the luxurious, new venue recently opened in Yukon. More than 100 guests and dozens of candidates are expected to attend.

The menu will include a gourmet taco dinner catered by Cocina De Mino Mexican Restauranté. Managing partner Tim Wagner from Yukon will personally handle catering for the hometown event.

Members of the Bean Supper Band, which retains its name from the original candidate forum, are Tim O’Connor and Tim Wagner from Yukon, Worth Lambert from Kingfisher and Ron Marlett from Bethany.

Tickets are $45 through August 3rd and $55 after that date and at the door.  Advance registration is encouraged to allow Cocina De Mino time to prepare for an accurate number of guests.
