What You Can Do Before Election Day Nov 02

The most important thing we can do before the election is to make a commitment to vote for Democratic candidates. Please remind friends and family to do the same. Drive them to the polls if they need a ride. Many elections are won by a handful of votes.
Here are some opportunities to make a difference. Call (405) 354-3189 or email hwinc@cox.net if you want to help.

1) Sign Project – Come to my house at 9 a.m. this Sat., 10/16/10, to gather up signs for posting in Canadian County.  Call for the address and directions.

2) Walk for J. P. Hemminger – J. P. needs walkers on Oct 23 and 24 to leaflet House District 43. Please call him at 816-2185 or jphemminger@yahoo.com for more information.

3) Early Voting & Election Day Drivers – Voters can vote early at the Canadian County Election Board, from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 29, from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Sat., Oct 30, and from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 01. The polls will be open 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. on Election Day, Nov. 02. We will publicize free rides to the polls IF we get enough volunteers to help with this effort.
