Join us! Lots going on for Democrats in May

Several great things are going on with the Canadian County Democrats. Hope to see you soon!

We’re going to be at El Reno Burger Day this Sat., May 6, from 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. We need volunteers for 2-3 hours. The booth will be located on the east side of Woodson Street between Bickford & Rock Island in El Reno.

Our next monthly meeting is 7-8:30 p.m. on Mon., May 8, at the Yukon Police Dept., 100 N. Ranchwood (just south of the skating rink). Our speaker is LaRenda Morgan, the Native American Liaison at the Oklahoma Democratic PartyMap:

Hope you can come to precinct officer training from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Wed., May 10, at the Yukon Police Dept. We’re going to get some tips on being a volunteer and learn how to use the Democrats’ VAN database to look up voters. We have ordered VAN for the precinct officers elected March 8. Let me know if you want to be a precinct officer 405-326-3600 so we can get you added.

The Oklahoma Democratic Party’s State Convention will be May 19 and 20 at the Tower Hotel, 3233 NW Expressway, OKC.

May 19 is an optional day with great training starting at 10 a.m. at the Tower Hotel. More info:

Everyone can go to the OK State Democratic Convention on May 20. Only delegates and officers can vote. (Please call me at 405-326-3600 if you are a delegate, but can’t attend. We will find someone to vote in your place. Registration (Credentials) starts at 8 a.m. Convention 10 a.m. . The Canadian County Democrats are going to buy Subway sandwiches, drinks and snacks for each delegate. If you prefer, you can order tickets to an optional $25 convention lunch
