Election board hiring Precinct workers for 2014 elections -

People are needed to work the precincts in Canadian County on election days. Substitutes are also needed to fill in emergencies. These positions pay between $87 and $97. Positions:     Inspector; Judge  and Clerk, Democrat or Republican

Dates in 2014:
     April 1   Canadian Valley Tech Center Bond Issue
     June 24   Primary
     August 26 Runoff
     Nov 4     General election
Duties:
     Judge and clerk
        Assist as required, hand out ballots, check names
        On computer print outs.
        7am to 7pm
    
     Inspector:
          Pickup equipment on Monday at Election Board
          Arrive at 6:30 to set up and start coffee
          Return equipment, ballots and printouts to Election Board 
 
Compensation:
     Judge and clerk - $87.00
     Inspector - $97.00 and mileage from polling place to Election Board
 
Training:
     Will be provided before duties are assumed.
