County Commissioner Forum on February 18th

posted Feb 15, 2010, 7:24 PM by Rodney Boegel
At 7:00 PM  this Thursday, February 18th, there will be a County Commissioners Forum at Redlands Community College sponsored by the El Reno Chamber of Commerce. There are two Democrats and five republicans running for District Three Commissioner in Canadian County and this is the first opportunity to hear them all. If there is any way possible, PLEASE attend this  forum and help support a Democratic Party candidate for District 3 Commissioner.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          Democrat John Morris of Calumet is running. He is a 27 year employee of  Canadian County, has been a Calumet Firefighter for 17 years, has served three terms on the Calumet city council, and is the Emergency Management Director for Calumet. Also running as a Democrat is C.A. Wilkenson.
We can make a difference in our local government by electing a Democrat to a position that touchs our lives everyday. The republican controlled county commission would benefit from a fresh Democratic voice as decisions about the future of our roads and bridges, the new county jail, and capital expenditures are made in this current economy.
Come to Redlands Community College this Thursday and support a Democrat who has decided to stand up and lead.
The Primary Election is on March 2nd and the General Election is on April 6th. Volunteer opportunities are available for any and all who want to help elect a Democrat to the Canadian County Commission.
I hope to see you Thursday.
  All the Best,
  Rodney Lee Boegel
  Secretary  Canadian County Democratic Party
